Hotel Management REST API with ASP.NET Core

A back-end API for a hotel management system, focused on getting authentication and data access right in ASP.NET Core.

How I built it

• Authentication: ASP.NET Core Identity stores users and roles; sign-in returns a JWT used as a bearer token on every request.
• Controllers: one for authentication, one for hotels, and a setup controller to create roles and assign them.
• Data: Entity Framework Core with SQL Server, with the schema managed through migrations.
• Documentation: Swagger generates interactive API docs, so every endpoint can be tried from the browser.
